So you have no personal experience to justify believing in conspiracies. Also you have no problem accepting reports of the towers being brought down by aircraft as truth. Right?

Sorry about your survey not going well. Reporting as things actually happened should not be defined as anything but telling truth. So no I am not going to answer your survey question.

So you believe there was a conspiracy to bring down the twin towers. What personal, first-hand basis do you have for believing that plots like this exist? Not what you read, not what someone told you, not how you fit things together, but actual, personal experience or observation that there are plots like this in the world. You choose to believe the interpretations of 9/11 in terms of controlled demolition or particle beams. Why? What experience have you had to convince you the world works this way?

I could see if you'd been framed for a crime you didn't commit, or had a bad tour in 'Nam where you say reports being falsified, but so far I have asked this question at every opportunity, and I have not found a single person - not one - who can tell me any experience they personally have had with a conspiracy on this scale, or any personal experience that justifies such beliefs. Most, I'd be willing to bet, have never faced a single moment of real danger or discomfort in their whole lives.

Well, that's interesting, but you didn't answer my question. What personal experience have you had that leads you to take conspiracies seriously? I mean, have you ever had a personal experience other than hearsay? I hear all kinds of babble after major events, but I simply assume most of it is people repeating misinformation to fill air time.

What's really funny is conspiracy believers miss the real conspiracies. Listen to the commercials on any talk show that deals in them, Or the ads on conspiratorial web sites. Fly-by-night diet and medical fads, dubious investments, questionably legal tax-avoidance schemes. Who stands to profit from 9-11? Follow the money.

9-11 truthers tend to be far left like Cynthia McKinney or libertarian. (Tend, not invariably). I'm going to guess you're libertarian. So I challenge you to contact Ron Paul or some other major libertarian figures and ask them specifically what they plan to do to protect individuals from abuse by powerful private sector interests. What do they plan to do to shut down bogus RIAA lawsuits, patent and copyright trolls, etc.? Since these reforms don't require any major restructuring of the Government, they could be enacted right now. So ask them what laws they have introduced. Ask them what laws they plan to introduce. My guess is none.
